The DaVinci is a decent portable vaporizer. It is mildly well priced and affordable. And it can be used for both dry herb and essential oils. But let’s take a look at my DaVinci Vaporizer Review and decide whether or not it is right for you. And let us see if it is really a good value. I will try to point out where I think it passes and /or where it fails. Let’s do this !
DaVinci Vaporizer Review
The Davinci has a few nice aspects that make it a decent vaporizer. The temperature-controlled options are the big selling point. Once you find your ideal setting you should realize a true quality vape. The design is a bit weird for my taste. The DaVinci looks like a real walkie-talkie. It does not appear to me that this was a mistake. My guess is that this was intentional to either throw off the fuzz or the over bearing wife.
Or perhaps the pure size of 4 inches tall by 2.5 wide was hard to hide so they covered the bulk by design. Either way it is too fat and heavy for me. It weighs 1.2 pounds. That is on the large side for a portable. It is also made of rubber like a walkie-talkie so that is good for drop protection. Regardless, you do get a 2 year warranty, which is above industry standard.
Specs, What you Get
This vaporizer has some pretty good specs overall. It holds 0.5 grams which is better than some more expensive units. And it has a hybrid stainless steel heating unit and chamber. The mouthpiece is plastic and is rather poor quality. My mouthpiece actually unraveled after 2 weeks. I was not happy. The heating time is one minute, not bad. And the temperatures range from 100 degrees to 429 degrees. There is a nice display for monitoring your temperature range. The battery recharge takes over 3 hours. I am not a big fan of having to wait that long for anything. Although the Davinci is well priced, it is mediocre at best and does not come with many of the extras I like to get when I invest in a product. Also, it should be noted this is basically a dry herb vape even though you can use oils.
I am turned off right away when the mouthpiece is poor quality. What is more important than what goes directly into your mouth? This is a surprising short fall. Also, I was not impressed when I tried to vape concentrates. The oil burned off too quickly. I should say although, that at a higher temperature the flavour of the oils or concentrates is very good. Also, when I used oil I got leakage and I hate that ! There is a cool little storage compartment that I found very nice. I haven’t seen that in other vaporizers. But overall, for $199 dollars I simply can not put my stamp of approval on this DaVinci Vaporizer Review, sorry guys !
