These new portable conduction vaporizers have fantastic finishes. If they vape half as good as they look then this DaVinci Ascent Vaporizer Review is going to be a great one. At a first glance The Ascent passes with flying colors.
It is not just the cool patterns like Faux Croc, Burl Wood or Black Rubberized, nor is it the sweet OLED display. It is the size and the weight. These bad boys are small. The Ascent is one of the lightest portables I have used to vape dry herb. It only weighs 6.8 ounces. I love the rounded edges on the body. Nothing irks me more than devices that cut into my leg when I am sitting down. And the ergonomic feel in the hand is just another really great idea. DaVinci seems to have figured out that when we want a portable, we want a portable. So, let’s see what’s inside and how it performs.
DaVinci Ascent Vaporizer Review – Inside and Out
First, she is fast. The heat up time is less than a minute. For a portable that is super. The Ascent uses a twin, non-removable Lithium-ion battery in combination with master power button and a heat up button. You can get up to 221 degrees in less than a minute and vape for up to 3 hours on a single charge. Of course, like all vaporizers, if you use the highest setting you will lose considerable battery life time.
There is a nice, large herb chamber in a swivel base that will hold up to 0.3 grams of dry herb. The design is all about simplicity. I like simple. Well, except that it being rounded means you need to hold it upright or spill you herb all over yourself. But it is easy enough. This is not a real deal breaker.
The interior is sweet. Of course DaVinci uses a ceramic chamber but have designed a glass on glass delivery system that really gets the most out of the vapor. The glass path is a tube within a tube. It vapes great and is very easily removed and even easier to clean.
The only downside is that glass is fragile and can easily break. This unit has the mouthpiece and glass tubes on the inside. So, if you drop it your screwed. However, in DaVinci’s defence they have included some extra glass tubes. I found that to be very impressive. You get extra points for that guys!
DaVinci Ascent Vaporizer Review – Final Word
DaVInci has really come a long way from their original. The vaping world is ever changing. Technology is constantly being improved. And with so much competition out there it is either stay ahead or get dead. DaVinci is ahead of the game. This is an all around solid portable. It vapes as well as any other. And I have tried quiet a few. I love it. You will too.
When I review new vaporizers I do not try to find fault with the product. I try to be the real client that I am. And, I am a client. Also, I try to be honest. So then, Can I recommend the Ascent? Well, of course. I do.
The listing price is $199 dollars. That is right online with the many other finely crafted portables available today. You get all the standard extras. Your kit includes a charger, but not a USB. The Ascent is a great vaporizer. Oh, and if you buy directly from Ascent, they will throw in a free grinder. Gotta love free stuff ! Good vaping my friends.
